FACTS OF INDIA
The origin of Indian flag can be traced from the days of India's Independence struggle.It was a symbol
of unity.Those days the flag had a "charka"-a spinning wheel in the centre which has been replaced by a wheel,a replica of the wheel from one of the "stupas"-pillars
constructed by a famous king called Ashoka of the Maurya Dynasty.The flag has three colours,orange(saffron) on top which stands for courage and
sacrifice,white in the middle stands for truth and green at the bottom stands for valour and faith.
The National Anthem of India was composed by Rabindranath tagore.
